The ICAN AERO 50 Carbon Wheelset is a 50mm deep, wide tubeless-ready disc wheelset. The Aero range is based on our best-selling Fast and Light series. Now you get to go even faster as the Aero wheelsets are around 100g lighter than their predecessors. They are still just as stiff and strong. You’ll be hard pushed to get any flex from our wheels. You’ll just be speeding along the road with that lovely carbon hum.

ICAN AERO 50 Carbon Wheelset
To lighten ICAN AERO 50 Carbon Wheelset we had to change their carbon fiber layup. We moved from solely Toray T700 carbon fiber to a mix of Toray T800. That allowed us to keep all the same strengths that you loved about our FL wheels but make them lighter, which we think you’ll also love.

AERO Series Rims
The Aero Series rims materialize from a combination of Toray T800 carbon fiber cloths. A marriage of these carbon cloths produces a lighter end product in comparison to a rim made only from Toray T700 carbon fiber cloth. The Aero Series rims is 28mm wide. Wide rims offer less rolling resistance and superior stability.
2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes
Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.
Endurable and Light Hub
Precision machined straight pull DT Swiss 350 hubs contact-free seals and spokes add strength with enhance power transfer meaning all your force pushes you forwards. DT Swiss 350 hubs include a spacer for 10-speed cassettes and a patented Star-Ratchet system(18T) with high precision build guarantee smooth bearings and press-fit end caps allow tool-free maintenance and conversion.

Sapim CX-RAY As light as a titanium spoke
The CX-Ray still receives the best results in fatigue testing of any spoke. The CX-Ray aero spoke combines excellent aerodynamics with low weight and great strength. Not only are they more aerodynamic, they also make wheels lighter and stronger. Its unique strength and flexibility make the CX-Ray suitable for most bicycle disciplines. CX-Ray spokes are used by top bike racers and triathletes around the world.
Sapim Secure Lock Nipples
Sapim Secure Lock nipple is a locking mechanism that prevents nipples from untightening. Secure Lock nipple can achieve a stable and well-defined deformation on the thread. Each nipple has an additional locking resistance of 18 ± 3cm.
UCI Approved
This wheelset has been certified and approved by the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale), for use in UCI sanctioned road races.
